Don’t Settle For Less

 Text: 1 Kings 3:16-27

We are missing out on a lot of God’s best for us because we are not watching. We aren’t observant/sensitive enough to achieve what we want.

If something doesn’t look like what God has given you then reject it immediately. The enemy is always trying to give us a substitute (Matt 13:24-25), we need to examine situations in our life closely and reject whatever is not from God.

(Num. 18:12) Don’t settle for less because God wants to give you the best and also because He wants us to offer the best to Him.

(John 3:16) God has paid for the best for us, Jesus is the price for the best & God has paid it for us.

(Ex. 8:28) Don’t settle for less because the devil is trying to negotiate with us into receiving less. Don’t accept the substitutes the devil is offering

10 Commandments of not settling for less

1.     Don’t settle for stress when you can rest. You’re too blessed to be stressed. (Heb. 4:9)

2.     Don’t ever settle for being the tail when you’ve been created to be the head. (Deut. 28:13, Heb. 5:12)

3.     Don’t settle for failure when you’ve been made for victory. (Josh. 1:8)

4.     Don’t live by labour when you’ve been favoured.

5.     Refuse to settle for sickness when you’ve been healed.

6.     Don’t accept defeat when you’ve been configured for success (Neh. 6:11)

7.     Refuse to be dominated when you’ve been given dominion (Gen. 1:28)

8.     Refuse to come down from the level God has raised you to.

9.     Don’t accept obscurity when God’s goodness is available for you. (Rom. 15:14, Phm. 1:6)

10.  Don’t settle for mediocrity when you can live and work in excellence.

Declaration: The power of whatever makes you settle for less is broken over your life today in Jesus’ name, you will enjoy the best!!!
