Founding Pastors
Dr. I. S. James is the Founding Pastor and the Chairman of the 5-member Board of Trustees that oversees the activities of the Ministry worldwide.
Born September 21, 1958 in Ewoama Brass, a riverine settlement in Bayelsa State of Nigeria, he is a graduate of Land Surveying from the University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He also holds amongst others a diploma in Christian Religious Studies, Master of Divinity from the California State Christian University and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Degree on International Missions from the California State Christian University.
He got saved on November 22, 1984, and following his call to ministry, was ordained a minister on March 10, 1985 and served as an Associate Minister between 1985 and 1999. A tested Christian missionary, he has traveled widely to teach the word of God, winning souls for Christ and touching lives all over the world. Millions of lives have been transformed through his weekly broadcast The Glory Hour on some select Nigerian television stations since 1992.
Dr. Iruofagha Solomon James is a disciplined, dynamic and uncompromising servant of God with deep and sound insight into the Holy Scriptures, with a remarkable ability to disseminate and impact it upon others.
He is married to Faith and they are blessed with two daughters and a son Grace, Glory and Iruofagha Jr.
Pastor Faith James Assistant General Overseer
A seasoned and gifted minister of the gospel, Faith James had worked as a Teacher and a Manager in the Insurance industry before going full-time. Many within and outside Glory Christian Ministries have found in her a great example of how to be a Minister, Wife and a Mother at the same time. As a woman of prayer, her passion for governmental prayers has stirred up a generation of prayers in GCM.
She is not only the wife of the General Overseer of the Ministry, and assists him in that position, but is presently at the forefront of pioneering our young church in Atlanta. The mother of three is also a graduate of Agriculture from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria. She is also a trained professional Counselor.
