A Thousand Times More
Ministering: Dr. I. S. James
Topic: A Thousand Times More
Text: Deut. 1: 6 – 11
Looking at the topic, the best thing about the promise of “a thousand times more increase” is that it comes from God Himself.
Whatever your situation in 2014, what people and your environment say; the Word of God erases them and is saying, “l have set the land ahead of you, because you have stayed too long on this mountain”.
God is a moving God and because you have stayed too long where you are now, He wants you to move on and increase.
God has promised us increase, but there are some factors that seek to hinder us from receiving the increase. Here are some of the factors:
Failure
Satan will recount every of your mistakes, failures or wrongdoing to you; he will try to get you focused on your mess and mistakes and not God’s promise, so that you can live in self pity and regret.
Don’t focus on the mess! Keep your eyes on what God has set before you, He can turn your situation around & bless you a thousand times more!
Success
Sometimes, some level of achievement can stunt our growth, when we think we are doing well. It can be our greater problem (oftentimes, the good is the enemy of the best).
You can trust God to increase you a thousand times more. It is His nature to be faithful!
No one can take what is yours in 2015.
Be hungry for success in 2015; don’t be comfortable with your present state. Open up to God and let Him do that which He alone can do.
We have no choice but to increase 2015.
Declarations:
– You are blessed a thousand times more. God’s nature and power will make this happen in your life in Jesus name.
– God has set 2015 before you; go in, in Jesus name.
– You will have sufficiency in all things and there shall be no more lack.
– You are free and loose from limitations, no more devourers, stagnancy and borrowing.
Prayers:
– Everything that was a hindrance to your progress in 2014, is torn down in Jesus name!
– May the plans of God for you in 2015 come to pass and may He unveil to you the ability to increase a thousand times more.
– As you align yourself with the Word of God for the year, may the LORD increase you a thousand times more!
Bless the LORD! He has brought us into 2015
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Quick Takes
From Dr. I.S James
– God will use your state of mess and mistakes as raw materials for a message.
– Let your mind know, this is a New Year! Force yourself to change your mindset, some things around you, your position and the way you do things.
– God hates complaints and lack of trust (faith) in His Word.
– Faith is the most important tool you need to navigate the word for this year.
– No other counsel or opinion supercedes the Word of God and if you are obedient to the Word, you will experience unexpected provision.
– Your words carry weight; be careful what you say in the presence of God. He hears you because every word of your confession is being collected and presented to Him.
– JESUS is not only our savior, HE is our High Priest (Heb.3:1).
Welcome to 2015, the year of “A Thousand Times More!”
“May the LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you! “– Deut. 1: 11
God uses events in our lives to shape, teach, grow us — and some of the key events are those sparked by our sins, mistakes and confusion. Therefore, Memories of the Past can very easily act as shackles, holding us to failures and regrets.
However, God does not want us bound to our past. He saved us from death. He freed us from the guilt and shame of our former life and gave us His Word, with every promise He has for us.
If your past feels like a wilderness, know that God wants to make a road through it, perhaps to help you navigate the difficult years and salvage the good. If your past feels like a desertland, know that God will make rivers of redemption flow as He brings beauty out of your ashes.
It is a beautiful year to embrace God’s fresh promise, “A Thousand Times More Increase” for 2015.
By His great love we are not consumed and His compassions never fail. They are new every morning (Lam.3:22,23).
